Hi, I have the same car, but with 1.4l engine. I recently changed oils (10W-30) but no oil filter. However, this is the sound of my motor This is a close up from my engine another one: and noise from the inside: Any suggestions about that ticking noise? Problem with the chain, the oil or the valve adjustment? Im facing a problem with my Pro_Cee’d GT (2016 manufac. Date) which has 1.6 T GDI engine. When i rev the engine a little bit or anyways on idle. It can be hear from outside only. Only if i turn off everything inside of car i can quietly hear it inside of car also…. Anyways, when the RPMs are dropping there is some kind of knocking… I have recently bought a second hand 5D Cee'd, 2010 model. I've noticed that the engine makes a ticking noise, noticeable inside the cabin. I have changed oils to 10W-30, however not oil filter. Furthermore, I have changed also the precat.
