Both of these work fine with the monitor and cable. When the monitor is plugged into the USB-C port, it seems to get an intermittent connection lasting about a second. This occurs every 2 or 3 seconds. This is not enough to get a picture, but you can see the USB-C source show up in the menu on the monitor.
The 850 (550€) with USB-C (DP + charging + 2x USB hub), 5W speakers, adjustable stand. The 650 (450€) without USB-C and speakers, but with the adjustable stand. The 600 (420€) without USB-C and speakers and with a non-adjustable stand. The USB-C feature does not suit me, the speakers are worthless and I use a different VESA mount.
This 27-inch LG monitor has 4K and HDR, plus USB-C and HDMI connections to cover your every need. This is a monitor that does a good job of just about everything. It has a matte finish to cut down
Whether you use a MacBook (or other Mac device), a PC, laptop or Windows tablet, our Thunderbolt 3 monitors are a perfect match*. All you need to do is use a Thunderbolt 3 or USB Type-C cable to connect your device to connect the ports on your LG monitor and your device. It takes just seconds, but can transform the way you work and play.
This just happened to me for like the hundredth time on a Dell Precision 7540, dual 27" U2719DC monitors, connected to a WD19DC dock. The symptoms are always the same: user docks a laptop with a USB-C connection (or maybe reboots) and suddenly after like *3 years of working just fine*, one monitor is now lower resolution.
USBC not working properly on LG UP850 4k display. I recently got this monitor for work and my main goal is to use it as the main monitor for my MacBook. The monitor has USB-C which I can use with my Macbook to send a display signal and charge it simultaneously. However, I am running into a very strange problem.
